Plant ash: Ash - chili powder

Apply a pinch of pepper powder and ash mixture to the funnel of the plant when pinholes on the leaves are found (KARI, 2003).

To make your own mixture, sieve ash to remove the big particles and grind finely dried pepper fruits (KARI, 2003).

Mix 2 kg of ash with 50 g of powdered pepper, which is good enough for a 0.4 ha area (KARI, 2003).
