| Botanical pesticide is a natural plant product that in general possesses low mammalian toxicity and constitutes least hazards and environmental pollution. It is less expensive and easily available because of its natural occurrence especially in the tropics. It has no adverse effect on plant growth, seed viability, and cooking and eating qualities. There is no risk of developing pest resistance to botanical pesticide when used in natural forms. |
